Rochelle (voiced by Rochelle Aytes), the lone female character of the group, she is originally from Cleveland but is living in Savannah at the time of the zombie outbreak due to her work. She works for a cable news network and producing a segment on strange stories.

While referred to as zombies, the infected are humans that have been infected with a mutated strain of rabies. The most numerous infected encountered by the survivors are the "common infected", they seem to no longer be able to speak coherent language, instead shouting gibberish and screaming at Survivors.

Dayjob Orchestra is a band that also makes silly videos. Happy in Paraguay is an entertaining lip dub done to the cast of Star Trek. A re-dub of Star Trek that proves, if anything, that lip-reading is harder than it seems. Apple juice, for half price! Adult Language.

Nick (voiced by Hugh Dillon) is not a nice guy, but a swindler, conman, gambler . . . He is cynical about the events taking place in his town and has no trust in the company around him.

Coach (voiced by Chad Coleman), is one of the four playable survivors in Left 4 Dead 2. He is a portly high-school football coach with a bad knee. He has a big heart, a healthy appetite, and a wicked swing with a chainsaw. His experience as an actual coach makes him demand things of the other survivors in a positive way.
